Hi, I have a red and black wire, is it possible for the timeguard trt030 to work with only two wires ?
Tried live and neutral connection earlier but boiler didn't fire. Boiler is micron 40. Thanks

If it is a 240VAC unit it would need 2 hot leads, 120VAC each. What are you measuring? From what I see, almost all questions regarding your model were based in England. Since it appears you may be in Europe, aren't you on 240 anyway? There is no neutral on a 240VAC system.

Hi, the thermostat has L, N and NO terminals. Yes Im in UK and its 240 V.
Would the red go to the L and black to NO ?

If you go to timeguard.com, search TRT030, there is a PDF instruction manual. Looks like you use L and N with some sort of jumper between N and NO. However, there is a help listing:

Being in the US, I am not aware of this unit. Hope this helps.
