Apparently our cities have deliberately unfriendly designs which excludes rather than welcomes

Can you think of some local examples

We all know that there undesirable elements in our cities but are you aware that there is a move to actively discourage them.

let's take pidgeons for example; falcons have been introduced to convince them to move on

In my city we have an unhealthy focus on traffic roundabouts with high plantings of supposed island beautification, the result; a dangerous situation designed to make traffic come to halt when the purpose of the roundabout is to promote the free flow of traffic (direction signals on vehicles cannot be seen across the blocking vegitation)

Neither. They're both invasive and suck you dry.

Yes well we got rid of one of our species and don't have the other. We have done a nice job of eliminating willow from local waterways,
