Hello I just have some questions about my case.
My mother has a brother that is a citizen of the U.S. My moms brother got us a form to become citizens through my mom so we were using his papers to get my mom papers and my mom put us her family down to get papers as well. My mother did not become a citizen and she passed away last year in may. Before she died we got a notice of action in the mail about 2 years ago it says we were approved but I don't know what to do next now that my mom is gone does the process stop since we got the papers through her?

So what happened is the primary beneficiary of an I-130 petition died, and you are wondering whether the derivative beneficaries can do anything. There is something called Section 204(l) Relief for such cases, but it only applies if you or one of the other relatives who was immigrating through her was residing in the U.S. when she died and continues to live in the U.S. I doubt this is the case.
