My 93 f-150 starts fine when the motor is cold but if the truck is already warm the only way to start it is to hold the pedal to the floor. Could this be that the relay for the fuel pump is not shutting off at proper fuel pressure and is flooding the motor?

. Test for codes
. Test igniter and coil.
. Ensure spark plugs (Motorcraft only) are relatively new.
. Ensure distributor cap and rotor are okay.

The problem could also be sensor/ECM related.

I checked the codes and it comes back secondary fuel pump

Some vehicles have a primary (low pressure) fuel pump in the tank, which delivers fuel to a secondary (high pressure) fuel pump to fully pressurize the fuel rail. Sounds like the later needs checking out. I would start by changing the fuel filter and see if that makes any difference.

Replace the fuel pump on the rail.
