I made a mistake of having sex with my boyfriend on October 3. The next morning I had a average blood flow for three days. It wasn't long enough to be a normal period. I thought it might be my cherry popping, but I'm not certain. I started bleeding again a few days later. This time it was long enough to be a period. It lasted about a week. My period is usually every 22 days. I'm supposed to start around the first week of December, but I'm already experiencing back pain, cramps, sore breasts. I'm really really nervous. We were safe, and used a condom properly. He said he didn't c*m, but I know that's not always the case. We didn't even do it long. I'm not sure if I'm paranoid or if I actually feel pressure when I press down on my abdomen. I'm really scared and have no one to talk to. I took a pregnant test yesterday, and it said negative. I then realized 3 weeks is too early to tell. Could I be pregnant?

Yes, you could be. Too often, a condom isn't enough protection.

Usually the only first symptom of pregnancy is a missed period. Wait to see if the next period shows up in early December. If not, wait two more weeks and take an hpt with the first urine of the morning. Or go to a doctor for a blood test.

ANY time there is penile insertion there is the risk of pregnancy. However, the symptoms you are experiencing could be from a number of different things. Plus it would be too soon for any symptoms to manifest themselves.

Since you had a period since the sexual encounter, it is unlikely you are pregnant. But if pregnancy scares you so much (as it should), then you need to keep your legs closed.
