The punctuation is correct for "the knowledge of the coaches" (more than one coach)
The punctuation is incorrect for "the knowledge of the coach" (one coach)

The correct possessive noun for the singular noun "coach" is: The coach's knowledge of soccer is appropriate for the age division.
