My seventeen year old son is out of control and unmanageable. His attitude towards the family is destructive. He is unwilling to modify any of his behavior. We had hoped to ride it out till his 18th birthday in March but really need to be free of his influence sooner. Is it possible to evict him sooner?

Most likely not. Depending on local laws you are probably responsible for him until he turns 18.

ScottGem, Your answer is somewhat useful but depressing. We have some concerns about liability if things get any worse.

Only by applying to Family Court to have him declared be incorrigible.
That includes some evidence of serious threat to the family, and any school and police problems. It can't just be arguing and refusing to obey the rules of the home.
Trouble is, I can't find anything for Georgia. Many states have it. Maybe GA doesn't. Call the town social worker or Family Court on Monday.
