So in your situation if you have $10 in your wallet and someone next to you has $11, you would feel bad?

Why compare yourself to others in any situation? There is always going to be people in your life that have more money, more motivation, more passion, better cars, homes, clothes, etc. SO WHAT? Why let that control how you feel about you?

I had a bad situation when I was a kid and it made me have bad depression for many years. I finally woke up one day and decided two things: 1) That bad thing wasn't gong to have control over me for another second; 2) Not one person other than me was going to control how I felt every day. Now I get up every morning and say that today is going to be a good day. It's difficult at first, but I promise you it works and soon you will be having fantastic days because you make them fantastic.

As far as passion for life, let that build over time. It doesn't happen overnight and will smack you in the face when you least expect it.

You also need to take a look at your lifestyle? Are you exercising? Exercising clears your head and makes you think more positive. Are you volunteering at a dog shelter? Seeing those waving tails there's no way you couldn't be smiling. There are things you can do to make your day better.

It is your choice on how you feel. And given that choice doesn't it make sense to make it a good day.

What's stopping you from building a life that you enjoy, with friends family, and activities you like? Why be sad that you see others with things you want? Why envy others when you can have your own?

You are at an age to explore and experiment, and set a path for yourself. Confusion on what that is often the case, but there is no hurry, just enjoy the exploring... within the boundaries of good behavior, and good orderly direction.

I suggest supplementing your school life with issues and causes that interest you and give you a chance to interact with people you share the same things with. An education outside your class work so to speak.

Thanks a lot Sir/Ma'am I will surely try to have an optimistic attitude towards life :)

You're going to try but what does that mean? What actions are you going to do to improve that attitude? Exercise? Hang out with friends and appreciate you have friends? Volunteer work?

Do things to make it happen.
