Case was dismissed without prejudice. Plaintiff never showed up for court. This is a child visitation case. Molestation charges were brought. NO CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. Department of Human Services said they had no cause to stop visitation. Plaintiff reopened the case. NO PROOF, SHE NEVER CAME TO COURT. This has been going on for 3 years. Case was dismissed a year ago. WHAT IS THE STATUTE of LIMITATIONS?

WHAT IS THE STATUTE of LIMITATIONS?

To re-litigate the child custody proceeding so as to award visitation to someone (presumably one of the parents)? There would be no SOL as such. Motions can be made until the child is no longer a minor. In most places, however, the moving party must allege changed circumstances.

Or are you asking about criminal charges?
