I've tried to give her the divorce papers but she refuses to sign. We both have other partners and haven't been together in quite somw time although we do have a 5 month old daughter together. But I want a divorce we don't get along I don't love her and we both stay with our partners. How do I go by by putting a ad in the newspaper since she won't sign the paper's?

First off you file for divorce. Then you must have all papers served properly according to your jurisdiction. After that and the usual waiting period then there will be a trial. If she has refused everything up to that point the judge can instruct you to place an ad in the legal section of a paper where she lives. This is a specific process. Then if she still refuses any response you can get a judge to give you a "default divorce".

Where did you get the idea that putting an ad in the papers would do anything? You go back to the court and show that you have served her with the papers and that she hasn't signed them and ask the court to grant the divorce by default.
P.S. Any question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

OP's misconception is the assumption that it is necessary for parties to a divorce to both "sign the papers". A divorce, like any other lawsuit, is a legal action whereby one person sues another person, asking that the court grant specified relief; in the case of a divorce, a judgment or decree of divorce. It is only to make divorces easier and more quick that sometimes the spouses can agree to the terms of the divorce decree by signing "divorce papers". If they cannot agree, then it proceeds in the normal way.
