So we knew each other for about a year and I knew she has a boyfriend and then both of us started having feelings for each other... the thing is it's not going well for her relationship right now since it's a long distance relationship. She told her boyfriend that there is something going on between us but she wants to wait till she goes back home to make her decision... her boyfriend is her first love so she wants to do it personally.
Now the problem is that we hang out everyday whether we want it or not because we have classes together everyday and we like each other but we can't do anything yet... and she feels bad about that because she thinks it's cheating which I think it is not since she told him. I honestly just want her to be happy, even if it means she will stay with him, but right now she is really sad about that and I have no idea how to help... I tried talking to her but frankly her problem is out of my reach to help...
What can I do to make sure she will be happy?

By leaving her alone and letting her get over her first love. May take a while, or else you will be a rebound and temporary fill in.

You leave her alone let her figure out what she wants. If she leaves her boyfriend, give her time to get over him
