My 6 year old has a fever of 102.6. What can I do to help her?

Cool (not cold) compresses under the armpits help to bring down a fever in addition to ibuprofen/Tylenol. Increase liquids if possible so she does not become dehydrated. I also would recommend bringing her in to see her pediatrician. If it is bacterial, she will be treated with a dose of antibiotics. Good luck.
