I have a Maytag, top fridge, bottom drawer freezer unit. The icemaker was fine, just stopped making ice. The freezer is very full, so going to try to lower the temp more, look for a reset switch and where the unit is actually plugged in. Is there anything else? No outside stuff in the doors. Where would the 'reset' button be?
Thanks,

First, you have to determine what is wrong. There is no reset button. You have to determine if the ice make has been turned off or if it has failed electrically or if it is not getting water.
Some ice makers have an on and off lever, most do not. They are turned off by the bail. The bail is the wire thing that comes down and senses when the ice tray is full. If it is pushed all the way up, that turns the ice maker off.

If the tray is full of ice, chances are that the ice maker is turn off or it has failed electrically.
If the tray is empty, chances are that the water solenoid valve has failed or there is a blockage in the water supply line. If the water line has a filter, the filter may be blocked and need to be changed.

The problem is most likely that the coils under the unit are clogged with dirt. Check that first and wash out the coils with a spray soap and use a hose nozzle to spray the coils clean and vacuum up with a wet-vac. Make sure to clean the fan, too.
