I have 9 week old kittens that has some fleas, what do I use to get rid of them without hurting the kittens skin? What do I wash them with?

Are they indoor cats or outdoor ones? What about their mother? Does she have fleas too?

Three things I know to do is to launder their bedding to kill any larvae or eggs that are on that, give them a bath, and/or use a flea comb to pick them off without damaging the skin. You should talk to your vet, they will give the best advice.

Ask the vet about using Advantage. The kittens might be old enough to tolerate that. We used it on our adult cats and watched the fleas jump off their bodies like rats from a sinking ship. I used a flea comb to get out the dead ones or choking ones and dropped them into a bowl of water to drown. Then we had to thoroughly wash the cats' bedding and then clean all the overstuffed furniture and carpets with flea powder plus vacuuming (and then close up the vacuum bag tightly and put it in the outside trash can immediately). We've been flea free since then.

You can use either advantage or frontline. You could also give the kitten a bath in a mild shampoo such as baby shampoo and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes than rinse thoroughly just remember when applying topical flea products that they should not be applied two days before or after a bath as the oils on the skin spread the products.
