I recently replaced a leaking,vertical 24" galvanized pipe.

It was a cold water supply to a kitchen faucet.

I also replaced both, (hot and cold) supply lines, both stop valves, and both

Valves in the actual faucet.

The problem is that the water pressure entering the faucet is good, but exiting the

Faucet spout is weak.

I have checked the particle screen at the end of the spout and bled the entire

Household system... turned on all tap and toilet valves for a few minutes.

I even back flushed the faucet,Still poor pressure and the flow appears to pulse

A little. Any suggestions.

Many thanks, puzzled, JC.

Hi JC pallette. And welcome to the plumbing [email protected].
In replacing the faucet you have disturbed some scale buildup in the pipe walls and it is now clogging the inlet ports of there cartridge. The solution is to shut the water off to the tap, open it up, and remove the cartridge. Checking clean the inlet ports in the cartridge.
Before you reassemble, turn the water on to flush out the supplies. Reassemble and test. Good luck, Tom
