I live in a rental that does not have a dishwasher. The condo does have a space that has permanent plumbing and a drain.. almost as if someone used it for a dishwasher or something..

I have a whirlpool portable dishwasher that I would like to be able to hook up and utilize in that space. What would I need to do to accomplish this?

To make this a permit installation. I would remove the supply hose and replace with a threaded CPVC female adapter. You may then connect a CPVC pipe back to a hot water source. To drain your dishwasher. You will need to install a branch tailpiece(see image) on the kitchen drain. Good luck, Tom

Is your landlord willing to allow this?

I am not trying to make it permanent.. I am trying to take a portable dishwasher and utilize the water lines and drain already in place. The problem is that the water line is located on the wall to the left and the drain is located directly behind the dishwasher. I was hoping there was an easy way to split the dishwashers hoses to be able to connect the water and the drain separately.
