I am self taught on using a computer. I have an Apple Mini. I use Safari. When I want to save a page, I click on "Bookmarks" at the top bar. I have three choices: Show all Bookmarks, Add Bookmark, & Add Bookmark Folder. Is there an easy miraculous way in which to have some order with all of these pages? Can these saved pages of "Bookmarks" be arranged in an alphabetical order so that I can easily find somethng that I have saved to use at a later date? What do others do? I am so overwhelmed because each time I save a page from a place that I have visited on the Internet, it just goes to the bottom of all of the other folders and now I have hundreds of saved folders. Is there another system that someone can tell me of that would be more orderly, because each time I want to find a page I saved I need to scroll down all of the hundreds of folders until I find it! This takes so long and I feel so frustrated!:( I would be very grateful to receive any information, suggestions, advice. Thank you.

A program to manage your bookmarks (http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=macOS+bookmark+manager).

Thanks anyway. This is tooooooooooooooo overwhelming for me. It is all very foreign and bigggggggggggggg. I basically know how to surf the internet, copy and paste. I just thought there might be verrrrryyyyy easy instructions, i.e. ABC 123 on how to put them in alphabetical order, steps that someone could tell me. I did not know I would have to purchase something (which I am unable to do), and then I do not know how to install etc.
But I appreciate your replies and thank you.
  :o

Hundreds of folders??
Do you mean folders or files?

I think I've got a couple of hundred webpages bookmarked and I've got them separated into about 15 folders.

I don't know how Safari works on an Apple Mini because I use Firefox on a PC, but I should think it works much the same way:

At the top of the screen should be a toolbar, and an option called "Bookmarks". Click on that and you should see another option called something like "Organize Bookmarks".
This will be the screen where you can create new folders and move them around or move your bookmarked pages into whichever folder you like (click on one and drag 'n drop it into a folder).

Thank you for your reply Lord Darclaw.
Re: "Do you mean folders or files?" I am saying folders because there is an illustration of a little opened folder! Excuse me if my "computer lingo" is incorrect! This folder file thing is also another issue that would help make life easier because this is what I do:
As I previously wrote in my original question, when I see a page on the internet which I want to save, I go to the top toolbar to "Bookmarks" and click on it. There are 4 choices: Show All Bookmarks, Add Bookmark, Add Bookmark Folder, and at the bottom is Bookmarks Bar. If I already have a folder for the subject which I wish to save, i.e. "Cats and Dog Health", then I will just take the internet page I am on and wish to save, and then need to scroll down all of these mixed up NON ALPHABETICAL FOLDERS to find my folder on Cat and Dog Health, and then click on "Add Bookmark". This is what is driving me crazy and upsetting me as it takes so long each time I want to save a page to find the folder!! :( to put the page in!! :(
So, am I correct in calling them folders?
I just want to find a way to alphabeticalize them because each time I make another folder it just goes to the bottom of the bookmarks column and in no order at all!:(

When you write: "At the top of the screen should be a toolbar, and an option called "At the top of the screen should be a toolbar, and an option called ". Click on that and you should see another option called something like ". Click on that and you should see another option called something like ". This will be the screen where you can create new folders and move them around or move your bookmarked pages into whichever folder you like (click on one and drag 'n drop it into a folder)" I do NOT have this and WISH I DID!

Any further advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?? Thanks!

Lol! :D
Hang in there Violet, we've all been there :)

This might help:
Safari Browser - Organizing Your Bookmarks (http://homepage.mac.com/cjrtools/ebooks/howtos/safari-browser-bookmarks.html)

I looked at a couple of screenshots of Safari and it looks pretty cool, but if you don't like it you could try Firefox instead - I think there's a version for apple/mac.
