We are presently here in the US but we plan to apply and immigrate to Canada. One of the CIC FSW program requirements is to have at least the minimum amount set on the table of their settlement fund requirement. Can we use or show our current US 401k retirement fund in addition to our present bank account amount as our settlement fund?

Our present bank account amount will not suffice the required settlement fund so we plan to show our US 401k retirement fund plus our bank account amount as our total settlement fund. >> will Canada Immigration accept this?

Also what else can be considered as "Transferable fund"? - that we can show as part of settlement fund in application for Canada immigration.
e.g. : 401k? Bonds? IRA? Roth IRA?

My advance thanks and appreciation for those who will share/answer! God bless
