I divorced my very abusive husband 27 yrs. Ago. He brainwashed them and they hate me. I have ten grandchildren and I never see them. The pain is unbearable.

We can't possibly know what they are thinking, but I am sorry to say that there is a very high likelihood that there is more to their feelings than resenting you for divorcing their father. One daughter, sure, two daughters maybe, but not all 3. There's something else going on.

What is it? Only they know. Often the answer is attempts at control mixed with neediness. That's just what many others have revealed.

I have a feeling that you do know, but want to blame it all on the divorce.
