Yes this is a project to begin after Spring Thaw 2014... Originally when the Laneway was widened and part of it was through the Ditch by the Road.. There was plenty of Aluminum Clover Pipe so it was just a matter of filling in with Stone.. They used 6 X 6 timber that was milled by a neighbor, now some 6 yrs later the timbers are showing signs of splitting & water saturation, plus the wall has a slight lean to it but there is a number of 8ft. steel fence posts sunk down below the frost line holding the wall up and from leaning any further.. From the top of the Wall down to the top of the Culvert Pipe is 4 1/2ft, top of the ditch from road to property is approximately 14ft... Ditch has your average slope on both sides... Sorry , now to the meat of my query.. As the laneway slopes slightly this way causing puddles to form from time to time.. Would pressure treated 6 X 6 timbers be sufficient or the ultimate fix pouring a cement retainer? Yes it's a Cost Thing... Thanks
