I am looking for a movie I once saw as a child and finding it again has been driving me nuts for at least 15 years now. It was about a group of runaway children and how they strive to survive. I can't remember much, but three scenes come to mind:
1. Each of them tries to make due and find a job. The girl of the group starts to work in the kitchen of a restaurant and either the cook, or the restaurant owner tries to rape her. Later she tells the rest of the group what happened and the rest of the gang beats him up...
2. In another scene the kids get tangled up with some gangsters if I remember correctly. In the argument one of the gangsters pick up one of the boys and throws him against the wall. He lands against it with the back of his head and while he slowly slides down, there is a blood smudge on the wall.
3. The last scene I remember is that they try to go to another city by bus and the boy who had the concussion dies on the bus before they get there.
