I have just filed a complaint with the AZ Regulatory Board of PA's - the PA required test to be done that where not relevant to my condition. PA having assistant call me for more test that are not relavant to illness. Plus Double charged on bill. Says that important so I go. I had this problem before and requested Azithromycin. Complained that benzonate and nasal spay did not work. PA even had me do outside labs to Sonora Quest. In the end, finally Rx me azithroycin which worked. Called for help in clearing up double billing, girl in patient accts said would corrected but sent me to collection. I feel like this PA was just "padding my bill" No help just medical fraud / waste / abuse.

Your iidea of unneeded tests and their idea is too different things. Not sure why you feel that way, But you also sound like first person to sue, if they missed something. Which is why doctors do many tests, and a lot of them may not really be needed but they are done to protect themselves

As for double billing, that is not PAa that is billing office and maybe the coder who did the work. That is a business office issue. You work that out with the office, or wait till they go to court and settle it in court.

You always have the option of saying no to a test, if you did not agree. If you did the test, then there is little room for complaint.

The reason a medical practitioner is a medical practitioner is because of superior education and understanding. So while you may think tests were not relevant that doesn't mean they weren't.

The question becomes whether you were covered under some health insurance plan. If you were, then your carrier is the first place to report what you think were irregularities.

If you do NOTHING, you're gonna wind up in court, FIGHTiNG about the very thing you WANT to fight about, in FRONT of somebody who can DO something about it.. Just let it happen. It's not gonna ruin your credit any more than it already has.
