Furnace has electronic ignition, not a glow plug. Furnace will not ignite. Otherwise runs fine and I have lit furnace with a lighter and runs fine. Replaced Pressure switch and bought new igniter today. I am worried the control board is not sending voltage to the ignition wire? On the control board there is a black round module or capacitor? where the ignition wire plugs into. I am worried this module is bad. Could this be replaced without replacing the entire board?

No, it cannot. Did you ever see or hear a spark? Is it spark to pilot or direct ignition of the main burners?

No I don't hear the normal clicking sound to spark the burners. Two wires that come together and click causing spark that lights the gas.

it normally clicks and sparks like a gas stove does. Thanks for helping me.

It's unusual for the ignition to go bad on the board but not unheard of. Before replacing the board, check for a good ground connection between the spark assembly & the burners. Also check the ignition cable for an cracks or burn spots.

Ignition cable is brand new today so burns or cracks. How do I check for good ground connection between spark assembly and burners? Thanks in advance

If there is a ground wire, disconnect at both ends, clean wire end terminal(s) & area to which the terminal connects.
If no ground wire, remove the ignition assembly & clean the surface to which the assembly mounts & the mounting surface of the assembly.
