I have a workers permit that the government gave to all undocumented immigrants that came here as children, its called Deffered Action for Childhood Arrivals. I got the workers permit by mail last year and I have not used it. I applied to many jobs but no luck. anyway, its suppose to expire next year in the fall and I have to get it renewed. My uncle said that if I don't use it, the government will throw me out of this country. Is it true, can they really take me out of my own home?
Is it true that the government can throw you out for not using your workers permit?

Since this is an international site... it would help if you told us which country you are talking about. Laws vary.

You are in the US?
They can throw you out, but not for failing to utilize the permit.
Whether they will or not is another story. We have a president who makes a point of violating every law he can.

Nope. With the EAD, you can work or not work. It doesn't matter.

When you have work permit, you can apply for SSN, then you can apply for any jobs. You have to renew your work permit every year.
Yes, the government can throw you out but not because of this issue. Good luck.
