This is the deal, a friend of mine has to submit some papers to I don't know what, but he recently moved out of his parents but only temporally therefore he hasn't changed his address on his license or car insurance etc, again since its only for a while. But he filled these forms he has to submit with the new address, and they will ask him for an ID to verify if its correct. He says since he doesn't have a state ID he can go get one with the new address, but keep his license with the old one, but I don't think that is possible since they probably have his info on the dmv databases. Am I right or is there a way?

They need to get their correct address on it... doing otherwise will only cause other problems for them these days. Having conflicting information only compounds the prolem.
