I found out I was pregnant in April and after long and emotional discussions with my partner we decided that we were not ready for the baby and therefore decided a medical termination was the best option for us. The same day that I had my termination (7th May) I was given the contraceptive injection which only seemed to make my bleeding from the termination last longer. I then came off the injection and waited for my bleeding to stop which took until late September (i had tests at the doctors and everything was fine, they put the bleeding down to hormones). I am yet to have a period following all of that, however, the past couple of days I have had the smell of a period but it seems much much stronger than normal, however, I've had no cramps, no bleeding only a slight discharge which I had towards the end of my bleeding before. I have no idea what's going on and I'm not sure whether I should just wait to see if the bleeding comes or book a doctors appointment? I'm definitely not pregnant I've done a test. Help?

Your system is still readjust and restarting after the termination. Give it more time. That is about all you can do. It is also a good time to talk to your doctor about birthcontrol and ways you can prevent yourself of getting into this situation again.
