Error message says default mail client not properly installed.control panel says it is

If you have Windows Vista / 7or 8

Then open control panel.
Go to Default Programs -> Change Default Programs.
Find Internet Explorer in the list and Click on "Set this program as default"

PS: I love Google Chrome as my Internet Browser. Give it a try.
