Hi I'm 19 years old and my partner and Im really concerned that I cannot get pregnant, I’ve been pretty naïve about using protection in the past so had regular unprotected sex with my boyfriend mostly withdrawal, FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS, and did not fall pregnant.
It wasn’t that I was trying to get pregnant, I just have never felt like it was a possibility for me.

My periods last 7-8 days, every second week of the month. When I was 15-17 I get my periods irregular with the cyle of every second week of the month OR last week up to first 2 days the following month until it became regular when I had food suplements, iron medicine, proper sleep & exercise.

My partner has not taken a sperm test yet but he has a family history of high fertility and has a HUGE family. There's no reason he should be infertile.

Now that I’m starting to think about my future and future children, I want to be able to know that I CAN have them when I wish.

No body/facial hair, I’m 5'4 about 65 kg.

I get my period sometimes really heavy or I often get dysmenorrhea on the first/second day & normal 3-8 days.

Is it possible that I'm infertile? Please answer & Thanks in Advance.

It's possible. He'd be the first one to test -- and the easier of the two of you.

Are you planning to marry him, or might the father of your children eventually be someone else?

Is it possible to be infertile at the age of 19?

Yes. But that is only part of it. What is the specific issue that prompted the question?

Now, Is it possible that I'm infertile? I'm getting really worried & depressed about this.

Yes, we're actually in a fixed marriage. & that adds the pressure on me of the possibility that I'm infertile.

My partner and I doesn't use contraceptives & often do withdrawal or condoms during sex but in almost 4 years of doing it, I'm getting worried that I didn't get pregnant since then, although we once thought I was prego but that was just a false alarm. Is it possible that I'm infertile because obviously, there might be instances that he didn't pull it faster/ pre- or we're just lucky?

Can you inherit infertility?

My mom had no problems in her pregnancy, in fact she had 2 boys & 3 girls including me, also my sister had 3 kids & my older brother had 1 girl since my sister in law has a medical problem with her kidney & wasn't allowed by the doctor to have more kids, But my mom said we had this history of infertility & my 3rd cousin inherited it from our great grandma so there's a possibility that one of us might inherit it as well. Is it possible to inherit infertility?

Could be. There are a number of genetic disorders that make it difficult to become pregnant. You're also young. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you REALLY want to get pregnant. At that point you need to contact your doctor and get referred to a fertility specialist.

You don't need to post multiple questions for the same issue.

It is possible that you're lucky. Could be you or it could be him. Could be neither. Could be both. Unless both of you have been checked out it is nearly impossible to say if you are or not.

Okay I'll bite. After 5 years why haven't you both been checked by a doctor?
