View Full Version : Server Error?

I have had a website through one hosting company since March. I recently switched to a different hosting company for the same website.

My domain name is registered with Godaddy.

When I type in my domain name as odinn7.com, I have no problems. When I type in www.odinn7.com, it comes back with a server error. If I type in http://odinn7.com, it works.

On my Facebook business page, I announced that I had a new website up and running. I got responses that it wasn't working when someone clicked on the link.

The link read as: http://www.odinn7.com

When I clicked on it, it said error. So I typed it into my browser as simply odinn7.com and it worked but as soon as I added www to it, it again showed error.

The hosting company I used before created the site for me. The new hosting company created this site. On my Godaddy account, I have entered the new IP address for the new hosting company but this is what I get now.

I'm confused so my question is probably somewhat confusing as well.

Any ideas on what's going on?

(AND Yes, I know that odinn7.com doesn't work. I used that as an example because I would prefer not to shamelessly plug my business here by listing the actual domain name)

You have an error in the system. It is not finding the host.

I found it. The new hosting site I am using neglected to change a setting. It works now.
