When did this happen? Try a system restore to before it started happening.

A list view is just that - a list. Never have known thumbnails to be shown in a list view.

If you are speaking about pictures or other things in a folder please try right-clicking in that folder. A View option should appear. Move your cursor over the View option. A list of viewing options should appear. If thumbnails is there, left-click on it. Thumbnails option should be there. Not always, though. But, it should. Depends on what year/name operating system you are using, if you are using Windows.

If you are using Windows '98, and you do not see thumbnails as one of the options in the View menu, here is a link to show you how to "Enable Thumbnail View."

I am working on office/OS 2000, and work in the IT department. Myself personal can see thumbnails in Views dropdown but some users cant.

Can't to system restores as don't know when this first occurred.
Followed instructions from "Clough" and you get the same views options. I had a look at the website provided and that did help as I am on office/OS 2000.

Any more ideas would be very helpful.

I am thinking that it might be some where in a hidden folder for example

C:\Documents and Settings\*LOGONNAME*\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Are you saying that, when using Windows Explorer, the folder options do not give a thumbnails view choice? Are there any image files in the folder?

Not being rude but I am not stupid.

The choice is not there with or without images

Even with a brand new empty folder you usually get the choice of all 5.

I can only see

Large Icons
Small Icons
List
Details

I didn't say you were stupid. I was trying to make sure I understood the problem so I could try to help. If you don't want to be rude, then try not doing something you think might be rude.
