I recently found out that I'm pregnant and needed to know the risks and effects of radiation exposure. I work at an animal clinic, and before I knew I was pregnant I was on a farm call when I had to jump in and help x-ray a wild ibex, meaning I didn't have time to put on a gown. At the time I was maybe 3-4 weeks. Please let me know what problems this may have caused?

One time, should not have that much effect, but let your doctor be aware, also, YES, there is always time to put on protective equipment, if you did not "jump in" it could have just taken a little longer.
