Hot water is working fine in every other area of my home except in the kitchen. It takes forever for the water to heat up from the kitchen facet. I live in California so my pipes are not freezing; tankless water heater is working perfect; water lines under sink are turned all the way on; calcium build up has been cleaned from the facet. I am stumped.

It is a combination of two things: Kitchen faucet draws only small amount of water water - plus - your kitchen is far away from the water heater.

This is a common problem. There are few solutions you could utilize, like installing hot water circulating pump or installing small, 4gal elec. Hot water heater under the sink, feeding it with hot water from the source.

Hope that helps. Back to you. Milo

Hi Dragonfly

All good information by Milo, but I had to ask if you have ever been able to get hot water out of this faucet fast? In other words, is this a new problem or a problem that has always existed?

If this is an old issue then I'm on board with Milo's answers. If this is a new issue and you have only recently started to have the issue please let us know and we will see what else comes to mind, OK? A name brand of the faucet will be helpful in this case.
