My wife was 38 weeks pregnant and scheduled to have c-section in 2-3 days.. but now she is suffering from 1010c fever and severe body pains such that she will not move an inch... Doctor told that we can go for c-section only when temp is normal... My question is this temperature will effect baby? And how much extent we can delay the C-section?

A fever of 101 shouldn't harm the baby. If the doctor feels that this temperature is dangerous to the baby, he will prescribe something to bring it down.
The reason they cannot perform the c-section now is that your wife is sick. A c-section is an operation, and just like any other operation there are risks. It's best to go into an operation in the best possible health, for the best possible outcome.
If there a medical reason the doctor was going to perform a c-section before the 40 week mark, or was this an elective c-section?
