Hi,
I reside in Goa itself. I have all my documents ready for creating a portuguese Passport. With the help of an agent I collected all the information, and have got all the necessary documents as well as their translations.
I would like to finish the process on my own without the help of an agent now as they are very expensive.
A friend told me that now I supposed to send an email somehwer and get an appointment with the consulate. Is this true?
Who am I supposed to email for the final procurement of my passport? Do I have to Go in Person to the consulate to get the application form?

Any help would be appreciated

Are you a Portuguese Citizen now? Because you won't get a Passport until you are. Passports are proof of citizenship.

My birth has been registered in Portugal... That makes me almost a citizen right... now I just need the passport... right?

That one thing does make it a lot simpler, I had to ask that because so many other posters don't know that and wrongly equated qualifying for a VISA with qualifying for a passport...

I would look up the number for the Portuguese Embassy... and they can give you the rest of the information... as changes are made from time to time and they would have the most current and accurate information..
