I graduated high school this year, and I had really nice and friendly classmate. After high school we didn't talked, because I was shy and it was hard for me to just communicate with people. But now I saw him on the street and we talked and laughed, I even flirted a little. It seemed that he wanted to talk more with me. Now I think that is it okay to ask him out or to give him a hint that I want to see him. The only way to do it is through Facebook.

This is a personal thing between the both of you and I am sure you don't want all your friends on Facebook to see your posts. Unless you intend to do it via a Personal Message.

You appear to be getting over your shyness now so I would suggest you take that last step and tell him personally, preferably face to face that you would like to go out with him.
