My sister was having awful back pains and took one pill of hydrocone/APAP 7.5 issued 8/21/2012, at 6pm just to hold her over until she went to the doctor at 11am. Which does did not have a prescription for. Due to her company polices she unwarily took a urine drug test. Will it show on the test?

Most likely would show up... its a powerful medication and one they look for.

I assume she took it recently... and not a year ago. Not clear in your post when it was taken. If it was taken a year ago... then no it won't show up.

Sorry, the meds were issues to our mother in 2012 and yes she took it last night.

If she took it last night , and she had the test today... she'll have a problem.

I was looking for a last ditch effort to salvage this by showing that the bottle had expired, thus hopefully showing that no one was taking the pills on an ongoing basis.

Showing a bottle that is expired is one thing. Showing a bottle of pills that doesn't belong to you after admitting you took some of the pills is a felony.
