Hello, I had sex with my fiancé unprotected 20 days ago. I took a plan B 24hours after that. I have had absolutely no bleeding or sign of my period. I have started to get bloated and have mood swings, but not little ones, end of the world ones. I also started having hot flashes(so bad I sweat through my sheets last night, even my SHINS were sweating) and I am normally cold. I am hungry a tad more and can "hold" more, which iis weird because I had gastric bypass almost 2 years ago. I had a negatie blood pregnancy test 16 days after sex and a negative home test today (20 days after sex) I am irregular with my periods so I don't know my schedule. I feel as though I may be pregnant(and am now hoping I am :) could those tests be wrong? Am I testing too early? When should I test since I don't know when my normal period would be?

If you are hoping you are pregnant why did you take the Plan B pill?

Yes, you are testing too early. You will have to wait to see what happens next month with a period.

When testing, remember to use first morning urine.

I took plan B because I didn't think I wanted to be pregnant, but sice I've been feeling like I might be, I have had a change of heart

You may be pregnant, but Plan B does have a pretty high success rate if taken properly.

Now you are playing the waiting game and have to wait to see what happens next month as far as a period. I understand you are irregular, you still have to wait nonetheless.

Pregnancy tests are not accurate 20 days after an encounter as there is no enough HCG hormone to be detected at this early stage in pregnancy.

First most of those signs are not pregnancy signs at this early date. But could be side effects of the plan B, there are many many side effects possible.

But this is far too early to test, you have to be at least 14 days late on your period to even start testing
