A court might allow an adoption without the biological parent's consent if all efforts to find that parent have been exhausted.

No it didn't

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

no it didnt

What didn't do what?

Assuming you are referring to a step parent adoption which was the subject of the 7 year old thread you posted to, that's not what was being said. The courts will require that at least attempt to get the bio dad's approval for the adoption. If he refuses, the court may override his objection under certain circumstances. If he can't be found, you will have to prove you made a good faith effort to find him.

But you can't do an adoption without involving both bio parents.
