Ok we are looking at a trailer that is an 80 or 81 to buy and eventually would like to move it to a piece of land we have after we get everything on the land... the trailer is currently in Ogdensburg NY and would be moving to Fowler NY/ Gouverneur NY... in these towns is this trailer to old to move or put on new land?

Unless one is familiar with the mobile home hauling industry in your location, the chances are that none of us know. I suggest that you contact a MH transport company in your area; they should have the answers.

The biggest snafu with mobile homes is what category they fall under for title. If they are classed by NY state as a 'manufactured home' then you go to the deed office, but if they are 'vehicles' as some are, it gets next to impossible if the seller has no title in hand from the DMV.
So... have you asked to see the title, which is the first thing you should do? (Do not accept any song and dance about how you get it.)
