. Allow everything to dry out.

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. Be very thorough--visual inspection is not good enough.

. Check for codes.

. Perform an ignition system by-pass test, if the starter motor does not crank. Remove the Solenoid Starter Switch connector. Run a 12AWG jumper wire from the positive battery terminal to the Solenoid Starter Switch. If the starter cranks, the starter motor and battery are likely fine. The problem may reside with the starter relay, likely in the under hood fuse/relay box; neutral starter switch; wiring; or ignition switch.

. Check the alternator, which often shorts out in these situations.

. Verify that the CEL comes on and goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON. If not, the PCM may have shorted out.

Was the engine hot when you rinsed it? If the fluid was cold and the engine was hot there's a possibility the head warped or cracked. You didn't get anything in the intake did you? As stated above, check ALL fuses and relays.
