I'm Tina,

I’m a lesbian. I have been with the same woman for 3 years. We fight a lot more now. We are going to live apart and date each other. She wants this more than I do. I resent it has come to this. But I’m not afraid to live alone. She says she needs her space and she's holding me back. She has a granddaughter and she's trying to fix it to where I don't have to help take care of her.

I have two teens living with me. It just feels like she’s cutting ties and sealing lose ends. When we are out and we happen to see an acquaintance of hers or friends I haven't met she doesn't introduce me to them. She used to and no matter who we talk to she steps in front of me to talk to them and I move but she does it again. She blocks me out and it feels rude. She says she doesn't mean to and describes me as the old shoe she’s used to being around as her excuse.

Is she setting me up for a breakup? Should I move on?

is she setting me up for a breakup? I don't know.
should I move on? YES
Not being introduced more than twice in a row = time to let it go.

I agree with Joy which shocks no one.

People in a relationship who put each other first don't do the behaviors you have described. But it takes two people to create the relationship you two have now so she probably has her own list of complaints.

When I am out I want people I know to know my partner. Is it me or do gay relationships just don't seem to last? Or maybe that is most relationships? I don't know.
