Simply put, and I know it doesn't help much, but you need to get other estimates from local contractors... ONLY WAY to get best price, OK?

You may want to talk to a local inspector or people over at town/city hall "OFF THE RECORD" and see what company they can recommend. Most town/cities have local guys that have best price and all the local connections!
