Question: how much is this set worth?

A set just sold on eBay for 250, but I didn't count and compare the pieces. You get a lot more by selling each piece separately. You need to pay fees and you need to know how to ship carefully. It isn't easy! If you aren't experienced at online selling, and you advertise it locally (paper, bulletin boards), there is no way to know if anyone will buy it or not or for how much. But early fall is the best time to sell china, as people get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

From all the Noritake I have priced for friends I would say that its value is around at least $800. But finding someone willing to pay that amount is a different story. Like Joy said its sometimes better to sell as pieces or small sets if you can't find a collector.
