Hello,

I need help! I have a 94 Buick Lesabre V6, 3.8L car that just died out on me while I was driving. I've had this problem for a while now but it usually starts right back up with no problem. This time, I died out and refuses to start at all. You can crank it and the motor turns over but doesn't start up. I can hear the fuel pump running and there is fuel going through the lines but still not starting. I just changed the ECM which costed me $200 hoping that this would solve the problem and nothing. I've already taken three days off because this is my only transportation to work and really need to get this problem fixed right away! I changed the spark plug module as well because there was no spark before I changed the ECM. Any other ideas as to what the problem may be??

. Check for codes.

. Verify that the CEL comes on and then goes out, when you turn the ignition switch to ON. Clean the main ECM ground and all other grounds.

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and the 3 coil packs. It's always advisable to replace the coils, along with the ICM. If the problem persists, check/replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

. Check/replace the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor. These are very sensitive sensors and can suddenly kill a car. Only buy a new MAF Sensor--remanufactured ones are very problematic.

Same problem buy a test light at harbor freight with key in on position unplug cam sensor stick test light in every hole if it light in one hole of the plug it good connection now unplug crank sensor and stick probe in every hole if it don't light you got a bad wire to the harness that plug to the cam sensor that rub through to the block of the engine I replace that harness with a junkyard car harness it took me 3month to figure it out all it took a 3dollar test light-a 15,000 dollar machine cannot tell you that nor can a scanner-now the car run like it brand new
