Doesn't really matter... 34 years... everything is considered both of yours.


Except inheritances are not considered community property, or part of a divorce settlement, if you bought and paid for it after marriage... even if it WAS your parents... then its an acquisition not an inheritance. That refinance probably changes its status..

You really do need a lawyer... if he gets one and you don't... guess who gets the better deal?

Only things you can prove as evidence under the rules of evidence are normally allowed. You may be able to tell your side of the story, but to be honest, in almost all divorces both sides lie about the other, so without proof, judges put little faith into statements.

Adultery is a misdemeanor in Georgia but I don't know any states that actually convict or give much wight to it any more, It seems to be on of though laws like it is illegal for a man to war heels more than 1'' high while chewing gum.

Get a lawyer... get it in your mind you are only going to get half and no more... or you are going to end up with far less and the Lawyers will be the ones that get everything.

The more you fight this the more of the assets will be going to legal fees... both yours and his.
