Your question: "I have itching around the outside of my vagina,it gets worse when I have my period. Went to my doctor. I was diagnosed with vaginal strep. It can be treated with antibiotics. I am allergic to penicillin. Is there anything else I can take or do for it? I called my Dr. and told them I broke out from the penicillin. He gave me vaginal suppositories to use for 3 nights I could only do 2 nights very painful. Waiting for results from a 2nd swab test that was done. To see if it cleared up. I feel that I still have symptoms. What would you recommend for me?
