I've recently discovered I have(well had) a septate hymen. I was sexually assaulted a year or so ago and after everything that happened I noticed one day while Doing some routine grooming I had this weird string looking piece of tissue sort of dangling. For a year now I thought something was wrong with me, I thought that guy broke something. But after some research I've discovered it's a septate hymen. I'm going to ask my mum to make me an appointment to have it removed but I'm scared.. Does it hurt? And how long does it take to heal? Help? :/
