 Until I can fit a new system in my budget, I'm stuck with my Windows ME. How do I uninstall Norton Security and Norton Anti-virus system? At one point I did hit uninstall in the programs list, now I can't find it anywhere, it's not even in install/uninstall programs. Also when I try to uninstall Symantec, it says it can't because Norton uses it. I have 3 Trogan Horse viruses and I need to get rid of them! HELP!

Wait... Help me understand... you are trying to remove three trojans by uninstalling your antivirus software?
Take a deep breath.
Format your hard disk.
Go back to 98 SE,or upgrade to XP.
Re-install Norton Antivirus.
Download AdAware SE,Spybot search and destroy,CCleaner,Spyware Blaster,etc.
Use Firefox as your main browser.
Get all above from www.download.com
Place Windows ME cd in the dustbin.
All the best,
Nez. :D

Go to symantec.com and search for the RNAV for your version of Norton. RNAV is a removal tool that will clean out Norton Anti-Virus from your system.
