With waitressing jobs, are tips posted on the pay stub for record purposes?

Each employer is different. Yours may or may not.

They are posted for income tax reasons (also the other related taxes as well)... and they (The IRS) assumes a certain amount of tips for income tax reasons. (not aware of the current number).. good luck trying to prove otherwise if you don't get that much... they have been required to do this for a few years... never used to be that way.

Depends on how they were paid. If the tip was added to the credit card payment, then they should be recorded on the pay stub. If they were paid in cash, then the employer doesn't know about them, but the IRS will assume a certain level of tips.

The reason I ask is because income records will be needed in reviewing for an adjustment in child support and I'm trying to figure out if tips will be averaged in as part of the income. It's through Buffalo Wild Wings so they're a large company.

Yes, it is likely the court will make an assumption about tip income.
