The sink sprayer was stuck in the on position and the water would not come out of the sink spout. After reading other questions/answers on here we got it to come out the spout.

The problem is it's also coming out of sprayer hole too. We took the hose out thinking it would fix the problem so there is no hose now. Water is coming out of the sink and out of the hole where where the hose was. We don't even care about a hose right now we just want water out of the spout. Any ideas please!

In kitchen faucets with a side spray there is a diverter valve, usually under the swivel of the spout. When you press the lever of the spray, the water coming out the spray closes the diverter and stops the water from coming out the spout. Sounds like yours has stuck closed. Depending on the type and model remove the spout and you should see the diverter. If you are doing away with the spray just remove the diverter valve and reinstall the spray (easiest way to plug the hole where the spray attaches). If you want to continue using the spray, replace the diverter valve.
The diverter valves come in different sizes and shapes depending on model, but you should recognize it when you see it.
